In Zim slang, 'bag' (often 'chiBag' with a Shona prefix) means a lot of money or a lucrative payoff. Similar to 'secure the bag.' If someone 'has the bag,' they have secured a big sum.
"He won the tender and got a fat bag – now he's buying a house in Borrowdale. (Meaning: He secured the contract and received a large sum of money – now he's buying a house in an upscale neighborhood.)"
