The female version of brouteur. While less common, it refers to a woman scammer, especially those who do romance scams on men. In many scams, even male brouteurs pretend to be women, but a real brouteuse is an actual woman con artist.
"On pensait que c'était une jeune fille amoureuse en ligne, mais c'était une brouteuse ivoirienne de 25 ans avec plusieurs victimes. (Translation: We thought it was a young girl in love online, but it was a 25-year-old Ivorian scamming woman with several victims.)"
