Short for chapati, but slang-wise it appears in idioms: achana na hizo chapo ('leave those issues alone') or anapiga chapo (he's hustling multiple jobs). Also, 'chapo' as verb can mean to smack.
"Msee huyu hupiga chapo juu ya kazi yake ya ofisi. (This guy does a side hustle on top of his office job.)"
Short for chapati, but slang to mean beating (because chapati dough is beaten/rolled).
