TOP DEFINITION
In Liberian usage, it specifically means 'mourning'. If someone is wearing black and not eating much, people say 'He's craving his Ma' (mourning his mother). Not to confuse with food cravings.
"He's craving his Ma. (He's mourning his mother.)"
