En cas de cas

🌍 Guinea

TOP DEFINITION
A uniquely Guinean French expression meaning 'if need be' or 'if the case arises.' Often used instead of 'au cas échéant'. Many locals humorously misuse it as if it meant 'in the opposite case,' but its intended meaning is 'should the occasion occur.'
"En cas de cas, on annulera la réunion. (If need be, we'll cancel the meeting.)"
