A term for a criminal, thug or scoundrel. Originating from Zulu, where it meant a wicked person, it's used in many languages in SA to label someone as a gangster or crook.
"Be careful of that skebenga in the leather jacket over there – I heard he's been caught pickpocketing people at this market before."
