TOP DEFINITION
Often used sarcastically now, referring to self-proclaimed trading gurus on social media who charge newbies for lessons or account management. Many 'forex mentors' are viewed as fake, just flaunting demo accounts.
"Twitter mentor life: rent a Benz for a photoshoot, sell a dream of turning $100 into $10K, then charge people $200 for a training. (Meaning: The life of a fraudulent trading mentor on Twitter: rent a Mercedes for a photoshoot, promise to teach people how to turn $100 into $10,000, then charge each person $200 for a course.)"
