TOP DEFINITION
An affectionate term for friend (short for Shona *shamwari*, friend). Often used in direct address.
A filler word used for emphasis or to mean 'though/anyway.' Placed at sentence end or before a clause
"I no like am sha. (I don't like it, though.) Or Sha, make we dey go. (Anyway, let's be going.)"
A casual form of address to a friend, equivalent to 'dude' or 'pal.' It adds familiarity or emphasis. Can be used with any statement
