(Yoruba) 'My husband' / 'My wife,' respectively. Often used affectionately even between serious dating partners (not just legally married couples). It's common for lovers to playfully call each other oko mi (husband) and iyawo mi (wife) as pet names.
"Oko mi, ṣé o ti jẹun? (Translation: My dear husband, have you eaten? said jokingly by a girlfriend as she serves her partner dinner.)"
